Megabass Dogmax

The Megabass DOGMAX represents the next evolution of the legendary DOG-X series, combining decades of Megabass innovation with modern tournament-proven performance. Developed from the vision of Megabass founder Yuki Ito and refined through extensive testing in demanding U.S. tournament waters, the DOGMAX is designed to deliver unmatched topwater action for targeting trophy-sized bass and other aggressive predators.

Its oversized 130mm body produces effortless, responsive "walk-the-dog" action with minimal rod input while moving a significant volume of water to attract fish from greater distances. The patented Split-Center-of-Gravity Seesaw Balancer System generates wide, torque-filled turns and pronounced tail-out movement, creating an irresistible surface presentation. Complementing this is the patented Tandem Inertia Balancer System, which enhances casting distance and enables long, controlled sliding action during retrieves.

The patented Water-Through Gill design increases water grip for improved stability while producing an enticing surface boil that further triggers feeding strikes. Internally, the Sonic Knock System creates a sharp, hard-knocking sound and powerful vibration that calls fish from deeper water, even in challenging conditions. Finished with durable swiveling hook hangers to reduce leverage during the fight and premium construction throughout, the DOGMAX is built to consistently tempt and land trophy-class fish.
