The Vision Oneten made a spectacular debut at the 2000 B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Classic, the world’s premier bass fishing tournament. Developed as a special model for the American market, it quickly gained popularity in U.S. waters before making its way back to Japan through Megabass USA.
Designed for power jerking, the Vision Oneten features a slender yet tall body that produces an incredible underwater sliding action, darting sharply from side to side. This dynamic movement generates a strong visual and vibration appeal capable of attracting even trophy-class bass, delivering a presence that surpasses traditional Japanese-sized minnows.
Beyond aggressive jerking techniques, the lure also performs exceptionally well on a steady retrieve. Its high-lift setting allows it to move lightly through the water, skillfully avoiding cover with subtle motions similar to the Griffon. This makes it highly effective as a shallow-running bait while maintaining its sleek profile.
Regarding hook specifications, the Japanese model is equipped with Katsuage hooks featuring out-barb out-points on the front and rear, along with a barbless hook in the center position. The U.S. model, on the other hand, uses Katsuage hooks on all three hook positions.
The Vision Oneten remains a benchmark jerkbait, combining tournament heritage, refined action, and versatile performance for serious anglers.
