BKK Hyperlatch Quad Urchin

The BKK ARMORPOINT Hyperlatch Quad-Urchin is purpose-built for rigging urchin-style soft baits with a unique dual-wire bait-locking system. The integrated locking pin passes directly through the center of the bait, helping secure it firmly in place while minimizing bait damage and preventing the bait from sliding or being thrown free during use.

The axial bait-locking design keeps the soft bait centered during long casts, sharp rod movements, and aggressive strikes. By maintaining a centered presentation, the Hyperlatch Quad-Urchin also helps reduce line twist and provides greater control over the bait's movement.

The four hook points are evenly positioned around the bait's 360° circumference, creating a balanced presentation while maintaining natural bait fall and hook exposure from multiple strike angles. This design helps maximize hook-up opportunities while keeping the bait properly positioned.

Built with 1X-strong Hyper Carbon Steel (HCS), the Hyperlatch Quad-Urchin provides the rigidity and strength needed for hard hooksets and demanding fights. The Super Slide (SS) coating and needle-point geometry help reduce penetration resistance for fast, responsive hooksets.

The center-through bait keeper also helps reduce body tearing, allowing anglers to preserve their soft baits and spend more time fishing with fewer re-rigs.
