Picasso Micro Rig Bait Ball

The Picasso Micro Rig is designed for targeting finicky bass when a compact, lightweight presentation is needed. Constructed with .024-inch heat-treated wire, the Micro Rig provides a small profile that can be easily cast with a medium-heavy casting or spinning rod.

The rig is designed for downsized plastic swimbaits and includes a choice of 1/16 oz. with 1/0 Gamakatsu hooks or 1/8 oz. with 2/0 Gamakatsu hooks. Its micro size makes it well suited for use with forward-facing sonar when targeting suspended fish feeding on smaller baitfish. It can also be worked along banks, around docks, blowdowns, and other structure as an alternative to a spinnerbait.

A lightweight, high-impact-resistant plastic head with an embedded nose swivel helps prevent line twists and reduces the ability of hooked fish to leverage themselves off. Small willow blades provide flickering flash while helping reduce lift for the compact presentation.
