Megabass Orochi X10 Casting Rods were designed to be the most advanced Orochi rods Megabass has ever made! X10 technology features proprietary organic fibers that replace traditional carbon fiber. The result is a blank wrap that is lighter and suppresses unwanted axial shake. It is also highly shock-absorbent, adding extra protection to the blank's carbon fiber core. The core of the blank utilizes the incredibly lightweight carbon graphite found in Megabass' Destroyer rod series, delivering superior sensitivity and control.
The IAS reel seat was hand crafted by Yuki Ito delivers an intuitive grip and feel for maximum operability. The head-locking mechanism is machine cut from a solid block of high-grade aluminum for unmatched strength and rigidity. The masterful thread work of the OROCHI X10 is a functional artistry unique to Megabass. Elegant tourmaline-green base threads made of fine, semi-transparent fibers are finished with lustrous and tough monofilament Air Force Scuro thread accents to create an exceedingly tight and secure guide threading.
