Yum Hardhead Jig Heads
Yum Hardhead Swinging Football Jig Heads feature a pivoting worm hook and powder-coated football head for lifelike action, perfect for the “Bottom Buggin” technique and fishing through heavy cover.
Formerly known as the Gene Larew Biffle Hardhead, the Yum Hardhead Swinging Football Jig Heads gained fame when Tommy Biffle used them to secure back-to-back wins at the BASS Elite Series “Sooner Run” and Lake Cherokee PAA events in 2010. Designed with a powder-coated football head weight attached to a pivoting worm hook, this jig head allows soft plastic baits to move naturally during retrieval. Ideal for the “Bottom Buggin” technique—where soft plastics are reeled along the bottom in a crankbait-like manner—the Yum Hardhead offers weedless rigging capabilities, making it highly effective for fishing through cover, structure, and debris without snagging.
